The Trinity Theatre branch of the Plain City Music, Arts, & Theatre Society will debut The Path of the Pioneer, a world premiere written and directed by Daniel Rodriguez Hijo. The narrative follows Alder, a man seeking direction after a divorce, who discovers potential connections to his biological family while working on a homestead near Big Darby Creek. The cast includes Matthew Hirshberg as Jonathan Alder, Jacob Cameron, and Ally Kaizer among others, exploring themes of identity and belonging. Performances will be held on August 9 and 10, with a pre-show dinner preceding the production each night.
