PCT is proud to present its Winter 2017 production of the 1940’s Radio Hour!
Join a live broadcast of the Mutual Manhattan Variety Cavalcade from the Hotel Astor’s Algonquin Room on December 21, 1942. The spirit of that bygone era when the world was at war and pop music meant “Strike Up the Band” and “Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy” (both are in this show) is accurately captured as the harassed producer copes with a drunk lead singer, the delivery boy who wants a chance in front of the mic, the second banana who dreams of singing a ballad, and the trumpet playing sound effects man who chooses a fighter plane over Glenn Miller.
Prices: $15.00 for adults ($12.00 for seniors 55 and over), $12.00 for children 12 and under. GROUP DISCOUNTS available to groups of 20 or more.
Performances will be held at Epiphany Lutheran Church (268 Hill Road North, Pickerington, OH 43147). Performance dates are Fridays and Saturdays from December 1 – 9, 2017 (Friday evenings at 8:00 PM and Saturday matinees and evenings at 2:00 PM and 8:00 PM respectively).
Tickets for the 1940’s Radio Hour may be reserved by calling our box office at 614-508-0036 or you can purchase tickets online at www.pctshows.com (up to two hours before showtime).
