RETURN TO THE FORBIDDEN PLANET is a retro science fiction extravaganza as the crew of an exploration vessel crash-lands on a planet inhabited by a mad scientist. This uproarious jukebox musical is based on Shakespeare’s The Tempest and the 1956 MGM film Forbidden Planet and features early Rock ‘n’ Roll favorites like “Great Balls of Fire,” “Shake, Rattle, and Roll,” and “Teenager in Love.
