What would you do if you inherited your father’s shoe factory that was on the verge of bankruptcy? Charlie Price knows first-hand as he tries to live up to his father’s legacy and save the family business. Charlie teams up with Lola, an entertainer who needs a pair of stilettos, to turn the factory around. The duo has more in common than they realize, and it becomes their mission to change their whole world. This Tony and Grammy-winning musical features music by pop icon Cyndi Lauper and will have you dancing in your seat!

Nik Blocker is so excited to be at Weathervane Playhouse this summer! Recent work includes:  Last Stop On Market Street (Dallas Children's Theatre),  Of Mice and Men (The Firehouse Theatre),  Guys and Dolls (Theatre Arlington), Peter and the Starcatcher (Onstage in Bedford),  As Dreams Are Made On (Prism Movement Theater). Be Kind, Friends!


Ben Hoover

Charlie
Ben Hoover is delighted to be making his Weathervane debut! Originally from northwestern Pennsylvania, Ben is a senior Musical Theatre major at Otterbein University. Past credits include Nick Bottom (Something Rotten), Marvin (Falsettoland), and Michael (I Do! I Do!). He would like to thank his partner,  Grace, for everything. 


Holland Besier

Holland Beiser is thrilled to be making their debut at Weathervane this summer! Holland is a senior Musical Theatre Major at Ohio Northern University. Selected credits include Beauty and the Beast (Lumiere), A Doll’s House (Nils), and Julius Caesar (Caska).


CJ Miller

Angel
CJ Miller is a Junior Musical Theatre major and Arts Administration minor at Ohio Northern University. CJ has most recently been in Julius Caesar and The Addams Family. In the fall, CJ will be moving to Florida to participate in the Disney College Program. He would like to thank his family for all of their support!


Ian Peloza

Ian Peloza is thrilled to be making his Weathervane debut! He is a junior BFA acting major at Otterbein University. Previous credits include:  Black Comedy (Brindsley), Our Town (Sam Craig/ensemble), and Next to Normal (Doctor Madden/Doctor Fine). Ian would love to thank God, his family, and friends for their support!


Conner Triplett

Conner Triplett is excited to be back on the Weathervane stage, where he first performed in 13 The Musical in 2010. Conner moved to New York City and attended The Institute for American Musical Theatre. He would like to give a shoutout to his friends and family for all their support. 


Kaylee Hendry

Kaylee Hendry is thrilled to perform in her first ever summer stock season with Weathervane. She currently attends the University of North Carolina School of the Arts majoring in acting. Chad Harris

Chad Harris is ecstatic to be a part of the 2023 Weathervane season! Recent credits include Mamma Mia (Sky) and Bright Star (Billy Cane). Chad is from Cleveland, Ohio and is a senior at Wright State University - BFA Acting. Chad would like to thank his friends and family for their support.


Haley Adkins

Haley Adkins is a senior attending FGCU advancing a BFA musical theatre degree with a minor in religious studies. She is grateful to her friends and family for their support and would like to thank those at Weathervane for making this one of the most rewarding experiences of her life.


Connor Richardson

Connor Richardson is excited to be returning to Weathervane after appearing in Plaid Tidings! He is a senior BFA Musical Theatre major at Coastal Carolina University. This season he also played Jerry Lee Lewis in Million Dollar Quartet and Sir Luce in Once Upon A Mattress.


Sammi Robinson

Sammi Robinson is a BFA Acting major at Otterbein University and has been performing since she was young. She’s extremely grateful for the opportunity to work with Weathervane- and hopes to contribute to keeping the arts alive and to keeping artistic expression loud!


Carly Shepherd

Carly Shepherd from Cincinnati, Ohio, Is a BFA Musical Theatre graduate from Shawnee State University. Performance credits include Cincinnati Landmark Productions (Sister Act), Paul Green’s Trumpet in the Land (The Sound of Music, The Wizard of Oz), and Bone and Fiddle Arts Collective in various performances across Ohio.


Roberto Silva-Neto

Roberto Silva-Neto is a rising junior musical theatre major at Otterbein University. His credits include A Little Night Music (Henrick), and The Last Five Years (Jamie). He recently made his professional debut in West Side Story (Swing). He would like to thank his friends, family, and faculty for their support.


CJ Zimmer

CJ Zimmer is thrilled to be with Weathervane this summer! He is currently attending Viterbo University pursuing a BFA in Music Theatre. Previous credits include Pirate/Police in Pirates of Penzance, Telly in Godspell, and Patrick in Spongebob. He would like to thank his family and friends for their love and support. 


Sam Stultz

Sam Stultz is a rising eighth grader at Granville Middle School. He has been participating in theatre since he was six. Sam’s favorite shows have been Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Assassins, and School Of Rock. Thank you Weathervane for being home away from home.


Scott Landis-Wilson

Scott Landis-Wilson is thrilled to return to the Weathervane stage after appearing as Old Man in A Christmas Story. Other favorite roles include Marvin in Falsettos, Charles Guiteau in Assassins, Joe Josephson in Merrily We Roll Along, and Mr. Maraczek in She Loves Me. "Celebrate you to elevate you!"


Liam Dalton

Liam Dalton is thrilled to be performing at Weathervane. He has recently performed in his community’s high school production of Yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Claus. Liam would like to thank his Mom, Dad and family for their unconditional love and support. He is also very appreciative of all of the Weathervane cast members for taking him under their wings.

Payten Romig

Assistant Director/Choreographer
Payten Romig is a rising senior at Ball State University studying production directing. Previously, she served as the director for Home Free! and Ball State's New Works Series. She is excited to be working with Weathervane Playhouse as their Arts Administration Assistant and Assistant Director/Choreographer for Kinky Boots this season!


Kevin Wines

Music Director
Kevin Wines is thrilled to join the Playhouse for its 55th year of theatre. Kevin is on the music faculty of Denison University teaching private voice lessons and directing the Singers’ Theatre Workshop. Kevin has performed locally with the Denison University Orchestra and TUTTI festival, the Newark-Granville Symphony, and appeared in many Opera/Columbus and Columbus Light Opera productions. He also was featured in numerous productions at Virginia Opera as well as appearing in principle roles with Dayton Opera, Chautauqua (New York) Opera, and Lyric Opera Cleveland, among others. A graduate of The Ohio State University, Kevin holds master’s degrees in voice performance, choral conducting and piano pedagogy. He is director of music/liturgist for Trinity Episcopal Church in downtown Columbus, and lives in the beautiful Welsh Hills of Granville with his spouse Kent Phillips.


Jonathan Allender-Zivic

Scenic Designer
Jonathan Allender-Zivic is excited to be back at Weathervane Playhouse. He has been designing, working, and teaching in the theatrical space for over 18 years. Recent credits The 39 Steps, Young Frankenstein, and Shrek. He would like to thank Katy for all her love, patience, and support.


Luca Fragiotta

Technical Director
Luca Fragiotta is a Technical Director from central Ohio. Luca worked at the Gateway Playhouse in New York, and worked and studied at Otterbein University before coming to Weathervane. He is excited to be here, and hopes that you enjoy the production.


Camille Lerner

Resident Costume Designer
Camille Lerner is very excited to be making their Weathervane debut! Camille has spent the last four years living in Nebraska, but her work has been seen across the country in Massachusetts, New Jersey, Florida, and more. Recent work includes The Marriage of Figaro and The Play that Goes Wrong. She hopes you enjoy the show!


Stephanie Gall

Assistant Costume Designer
Stephanie Gall is a Senior in the BFA Entertainment Design and Technology program at Western Carolina University. She focuses in costume design, and has recently designed Quilters and Romeo and Juliet at WCU and The Little Mermaid JR at Florida Repertory Theatre. They are excited for their first season with Weathervane!


Arabella Mason

Props Designer
Arabella Mason is from High Point, North Carolina. She is currently earning her BFA in Theatre Technical and Design at Greensboro College. Some of her favorite shows she's worked on include The Ladies Man and Mirrors. She is very excited to be working with Weathervane this summer!


Casey Palbicki

Sound Designer
Dr. Casey Palbicki is a professor of music at the University of Wisconsin - River Falls, specializing in Film Music and Music Theory. He holds degrees in both film studies and music and earned his Ph.D from the University of Minnesota. He resides in River Falls, WI with his wife Jaimie and his two children.


Nicole Hunter

Sound Engineer
Nicole Hunter recently graduated from Otterbein University with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre, with a focus in Sound Engineering and Design. She is excited for the opportunity to be Weathervane’s Sound Engineer for this summer season!


Jennifer Sansfacon

Lighting Designer
Jennifer Sansfacon has been working at Weathervane since 2008, starting off as the resident lighting designer. Some of her favorite designs at Weathervane include Les Misérables (lighting), Matilda (props), and A Midsummer Night's Dream (lighting). In 2010, Jennifer graduated with an MFA in design technology focusing on lighting and costumes.


Paige Vick

Assistant Lighting Designer/Master Electrician
Paige Vick is a rising junior attending Otterbein University who is originally from Ellicott City, Maryland. She is excited for her second summer stock experience and first professional master electrician experience. She hopes you enjoy the show and thanks you for supporting local theatre!
