Helen of Sparta at MadLab Theatre

Helen of Sparta (Gabrielle Perrea) has been snatched from her home and husband by the dashing but perhaps overzealous Paris (Brian Spangler). While Paris attempts to woo the beautiful Helen, her husband Menelaus (Edwyn Williams) attempts to rescue her but gets caught up in customs as he discovers he is on the national "do not sail" list. Meanwhile, Protesilaus (Gregory Kimbro) is determined to live on in history for centuries to come through this fledgling war, even if that means shrugging off his adoring wife Laodamia (Krista Threadgill), ignoring prophesies and walking straight into certain death.
