David Ives, the American playwright who specializes in the short play format, is to be celebrated this summer in his seminal collection of plays called All in the Timing. The plays, totaling a half a dozen, are mostly comedic or comedic-dramatic and reflect upon contemporary lives, relationships, and philosophical concepts. Words, Words, Words and Variations on the Death of Trotsky and Sure Thing, are just a few examples of this innovative playwright's work. Come and spend a hot summer evening watching some cool plays.
