All American chart-toppers
Joe Ely, Ruthie Foster, and Paul Thorn join together on one stage for a fantastic night of Southern tale-telling in the round. Grammy winner
Joe Ely is a Texas singer/songwriter and guitarist, and one of the main movers of Austin's progressive country scene since the 1970s. Multiple Grammy-nominated artist Ruthie Foster is also a Texas-based singer/songwriter who mixes a wide palette of American song forms with a naturally expressive voice that has drawn comparisons to greats like
Aretha Franklin and
Ella Fitzgerald. The gritty, soulful voice of Mississippi's Paul Thorn comes from a life-long passion for gospel music, which he pairs with formidable guitar skills to shape his own brand of roots music.
