During these difficult economic times the non-profit Shadowbox entertainment troupe is waiving its restrictions on student and senior discount tickets as well as offering a unique fundraising opportunity to other non-profit organizations.

"We are offering our balcony to charities and educational groups on off nights," explains Director of Community Relations Stacie Boord. "These groups can promote their Shadowbox event to their supporters and for every regular priced ticket sold to those supporters, Shadowbox will give back $15 to the organization." The program, conceived by Boord and Marketing Director Julie Klein, will allow organizations to raise dollars that are particularly scarce this season while also offering world class entertainment as an incentive to giving", said Boord.

Shadowbox troupe members are targeting key organizations with the proposed Christmas party / Fundraising concept and the Shadowbox box office is waving restricted nights for student and senior pricing. These projects are part of Shadowbox's community relations effort, Shadowbox Gives Back, which includes partnerships with schools, donation fulfillment, and collaborative fundraising efforts with other non-profits.

Shadowbox CEO and Executive Producer Steve Guyer commented, "The Shadowbox Gives Back program is designed to fund all of our community outreach efforts. By the same token it keeps Shadowbox in the front of people's minds, reminding them that they can come here, and for three hours, totally forget about their troubles and laugh their way through the holiday. It's a terrific way for us to give back to the charities, students, and seniors that enrich our community."

Shadowbox's Holiday Hoopla XVIII will run each Tuesday through Friday at 7:30 PM, Saturdays at 7:30 and 10:30 PM, and Sundays at 2:30 and 7:00 PM through January 2nd.. Charities and educational groups interested in taking advantage of Shadowbox's balcony party program should contact Julie Klein at 614-416-7625. All regular reservations should contact the box office at 614-416-ROCK (7625) or go online to www.shadowboxcabaret.com.
