Shadowbox Live is ready to revisit audience favorites from the past season with The Best of Shadowbox Live 2017 opening June 8th at the Brewery District theater, 503 South Front Street.

Sketches and songs from Scandalous (Spring 2016), The Shadow Zone (Fall 2016), and Body Heat (Winter 2017) will be featured in the two-hour production.

"Best of always gives us an opportunity to take audience favorite sketches and fine-tune them," comments Jimmy Mak, Head Writer for Shadowbox Live. "The show is fast-paced and the sketches are crisp."

Sketches planned for the production are:

From Scandalous

Breaking News - Even newscasters can lose their cool when the stories get a bit, um, personal

From The Shadow Zone

The Twilight Zone: I Was A Teenage Basic White Girl - Rod Serling brings you another terrifying tale, this time involving a patronizing couple, a mysterious pumpkin spiced latte, and a seemingly harmless basic white girl.

Technically Speaking - Gertie seeks out help with setting up her new iPhone. But her questions to the clerk may just prove to be deadly.

Satan's Baby Mama - Whew, and you thought you had baby daddy drama! Rosemary comes clean to her friends about her brand new pregnancy.

The Shining the Musical - Mrs. Hossenfeffer's fifth grade class has insisted on performing a musical version of the Shining. But don't worry, it's completely family friendly, sort of.

From Body Heat

Win Her Back - Young students learn the art of rekindling lost love

Share Your Whole - Couples yoga will never be the same after Puck and Misty Duck share their new moves with Dick and Betsy Anderson

PromPosal - Sedrick is all ready for prom - all he needs to do now is to ask his crush to go with him!

Funk Your Brains Out - Funk Daddy Love is promoting a new album and the testimonials he has gathered prove this is his sexiest music ever!
