Shadowbox will keep performing Back to the Garden at least through Spring 2010 and has scheduled Rent for Fall 2010.

Spring 2010

Shadowbox's original musical documentary Back to the Garden will continue to run through the Spring in an effort to meet audience demand.

The popular show about the Woodstock Music and Art Festival of 1969 debuted in Fall 2009. After a brief hiatus during the Christmas holidays, Shadowbox Executive Producer Steve Guyer re-opened the show in early February 2010.

"We left the run open-ended." said Guyer. "And the show's popularity continues to bring in crowds and it just doesn't make sense to close it when so many want to see it again and share the experience with their friends and families."

Back to the Garden will continue to run most Sundays at 2:30 and 7:00 PM. There are no shows on April 4th, May 2nd, and May 30th.

Fall 2010
Shadowbox gets edgy this fall with the controversial 1996 Broadway rock musical Rent. Loosely based on Puccini's La Boheme, Rent takes place in Manhattan's East Village where the bohemian residents share in their struggle to survive troubled relationships, AIDS, and addictions. Critically acclaimed, Rent received four Tony Awards including "Best Musical," as well as a Pulitzer Prize for "Best Drama."

Rent will open Sunday October 3rd at 7:00 PM and will run each Sunday at 2:30 and 7:00 through November 14th.

Tickets for Back to the Garden and Rent are $30 / $20 for students, seniors, and active military. For reservations contact the Shadowbox Box Office at 614-416-ROCK (7625) or go online to www.shadowboxcabaret.com.
