Shadowbox 'Bad To The Bone' Fall Season Opens 9/3

This fall Shadowbox presents a new theme that pays tribute to our mischievous, dark, rebellious side: Bad to the Bone, opening Thursday, September 3rd at the sketch comedy and rock ‘n' roll club located at the Easton Town Center.

Bad to the Bone will fuse original sketch comedy, video shorts, and live rock 'n' roll into one seamless, high-energy production that will take audiences to Hell and back again.

Audiences can expect to see Dr. Frankenstein and Frankenstein's Monster, Dr. Mystery and his sidekicks Vigo and the Fair Maiden, Dracula and his bride, the Wolfman, Jym Ganahl, Vinnie the Gooch, Shannon Bannister, and Cindy and Laverne, among others, on the comedy stage; and songs from Pink Floyd, Phil Collins, Annie Lennox, Santana, Pat Benatar, The Blues Brothers, Bon Jovi, Melissa Ethridge, and Incubus on the band stage.

"The material for this show is very fresh and creative," commented executive producer Steve Guyer. "With a theme like ‘Bad to the Bone' we were able to mingle the usual suspects from our comedy with some very unlikely counterparts in outrageous situations."

Shadowbox is a non-profit 501C3 performance troupe that self-produces a wide range of shows, as well as runs the company on a day-to-day basis. The top managers of the company make up the Board of Trustees and operate as the primary creators, producers, and performers for the shows.
For 20 years this creative force has produced world-class productions, including original rock operas, traditional musicals, fine art exhibits, contemporary dance, and video / television.
