Christmas has come and gone. It's time to take those holiday stockings down from the fireplace and slide on a pair of silk ones. Get ready for an evening out on the town and a night behind closed doors with the new sexy, sultry, Shadowbox show, Shadowbox After Dark, opening Thursday, January 7, 2010 at the sketch comedy and rock ‘n' roll club at the Easton Town Center.

Coming off of their family-friendly Holiday Hoopla, the Shadowbox crew is ready to trade in their Santa hats for fishnets and leather to bring you another year's worth of outrageous sketch comedy and rock n' roll, starting with their newest theme, Shadowbox After Dark.

"After Dark focuses primarily on sex, love, and relationships, but this show is distinctly different from our past Sex at the ‘Box shows, " explains General Manager Katy Psenicka. "After Dark exposes our sensuality without losing our signature side-splitting sketch comedy that pokes fun at a subject that is still largely taboo."

Shadowbox is well known for making light of love and using of well-known characters. This show, however, is an exception on the second point. "So far, After Dark has only two sketches that feature previously established characters," says Head Writer Jimmy Mak, "Everything else is brand new. And that's exciting and a little scary. It's always a tight rope we walk trying to please our audience members who prefer familiarity and those that crave and demand new things."
In no particular order, After Dark's sketches will include:

Construction Guise - It's Phillip's first day on the job site and he has a lot to learn about how to talk to women and why.

Daddy's Little Girl is ready to learn about the birds and bees. But are her parents ready to tell her what she needs to know?

Girls 201 - Everyone's favorite trio of nerds is back and ready for action. Spazoid leader Kirby has set up Tom, Albert and himself on blind dates and now must teach them the rules of wooing.

Going Solo in which we find out what happens in a galaxy far, far away when a scruffy looking smuggler and an ex-princess settle down to get married with children.
Housekeeping Made Tease-y - Ladies, having trouble getting your husband to clean the house? This book will teach you how to use your best assets to motivate him.

Kama Suesstra - Enlightened couples who try these positions will find satisfaction, thanks to the physician....Dr. Suess that is.
Love is a Battlefield when couples argue. And the Armed Forces inside each man and woman have an arsenal of verbal weapons at the ready.

Love Stinks - A new product from Bitter Brothers that will put a permanent end to public displays of affection.

The Newly Unwed Game South-siders Puck and Misty Duck compete with two other couples to reveal which couple knows each other best.

And songs will include:
Girl, Girls, Girls by Motley Crue

When the Lights Go Down by Journey

Smooth Operator by Sade

Little Red Corvette by Prince

Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me by U2 featuring choreography by Katy Psenicka

All Around Me by Flyleaf

Girls on Film by Duran Duran

Beat It by Michael Jackson

These Things by Robert Cray
