What a year 2016 has been! It was a year that saw the passing of David Bowie, Prince, Nancy Reagan, Mohammad Ali, Gene Wilder, and Fidel Castro. The Chicago Cubs won the World Series, NASA's Juno began its orbit around Jupiter, and the Queen of England turned 90. Pokemon got us walking and politics got us talking (and tweeting). And, it ain't over 'til it's over!
So why not bid farewell to 2016 and ring in 2017 with New Year's Eve at Shadowbox Live or the Backstage Bistro?
"Shadowbox Live actually has two New Year's Eve events happening at the same time," explains Marketing Director
Julie Klein. "Inside the theater, our house band BillWho? performs over two hours of live rock and dance music, sponsored by Jack FM. And, in the Backstage Bistro, the Urban Jazz Coalition performs over two hours of live jazz music."
Both parties start with a dinner banquet, include a dedicated space for dancing, and both count down to midnight with a champagne toast for all.
Klein adds, "These are two different parties, so you can choose the one that suits you best!"
Tickets for New Year's Eve at Shadowbox Live are $100 per person or $180 per couple and seating begins at 8:30pm. Tickets for New Year's Eve at The Backstage Bistro are $60 per person and seating begins at 9:30pm. Full menu descriptions and seating options are available on the Shadowbox Live website at www.shadowboxlive.org.
