Photo Coverage: First look at Off the Lake Productions' HAIRSPRAY

Off the Lake Productions, the only student-run musical theatre group on Ohio State's campus, is bringing its 20th production, HAIRSPRAY, to you this spring!
It's 1962 in Baltimore, Maryland, and quirky, plus-sized, teenage Tracy Turnblad wins a spot to dance on the "Corny Collins Show". Overnight, Tracy transforms from a nobody into a star, and uses her newfound influence to advocate for racial integration on the television show. The bright, energetic story of Tracy Turnblad teaches us all to look past the color of one's skin and fight for every human being's equal rights.
OTL is also a service-based, non-profit organization and in lieu of an admission charge, audience members are asked to bring a canned good or nonperishable food item to be donated to the Mid-Ohio Foodbank, or $1 to be donated to the A Kid Again charity.
Performances are February 26 @ 8pm, February 27 @ 2pm & 8pm, March 4 @ 9:30pm, and March 5 @ 4:30pm & 8pm on the OSU campus in the auditorium at Hitchcock Hall, 191 W. Woodruff Ave., Columbus, Ohio 43210. For more information visit involvedliving.osu.edu/otl or email offthelakeproductions@osu.edu
