King Avenue Players is proud to present the hit musical Forever Plaid on March 26, 27 and 28. Show times are nightly at 7:30pm, and a 3:00pm matinee on March 28.
This nostalgic, musical revue tells the story of the 'Plaids,' a close-harmony, male ensemble with high aspirations. The group's dreams of recording success come to an abrupt end in 1964, after their car collides with a bus of schoolgirls headed to see the Beatles' debut on the Ed Sullivan show. The play begins with the Plaids returning from the afterlife for one final chance at musical glory.
Directed by Jim Keller, the show stars Michael Billups, Scott Foltz, Glen Garcia, Dwayne Zimmerman as the 'Plaids,' and Ben Fox as the narrator.
Admission is free, but a free-will offering is graciously accepted. The show is appropriate for all age groups. Childcare will be available at the Thursday night and Saturday afternoon performances.
