The PNC Arts Alive All Access program launched last year is now expanding its discount ticket program to include young people aged 13-25. Designed to make the arts affordable and accessible, the program offers $5 tickets to a wide variety of performing arts events in Columbus. The program originally included ages 13-18, but the eligible age range has now been expanded to include those up to and including age 25.
The PNC Arts Alive All Access program is funded by a grant from PNC Arts Alive, a three-year, $1.5 million initiative of The PNC Foundation that supports visual and performing arts groups with the goal of increasing arts access and engagement in new and innovative ways.
“Through the PNC Arts Alive All Access program, an even wider range of students will be introduced to the abundance of quality arts opportunities happening in their own hometown,” said Michael Gonsiorowski, PNC regional president for central Ohio. “A thriving arts community contributes to the economic success of central Ohio, and we look forward to the positive impact this next generation of arts patrons will have on this region in the years to come.”
Participating arts organizations include CAPA (which is administering the program), BalletMet, CATCO, Chamber Music Columbus, Columbus Symphony, Jazz Arts Group, King Arts Complex, Opera Columbus, ProMusica, and the Wexner Center for the Arts. These groups will offer blocks of $5 tickets to select performances throughout their seasons. Additional events will be added on a rolling basis.
