The Jeanne B. McCoy Community Center for the Arts (100 W. Dublin-Granville Rd., New Albany) will welcome Columbus Children's Theatre's production of ALADDIN on January 8, 2012 at 2PM and 3:30PM. Based on the story from Arabian Nights, the audience will play a crucial role in this exciting and interactive performance by Columbus Children's Theatre's talented Touring Company.

A boy named Aladdin is infatuated by a beautiful princess, the Sultan's daughter. But he's just a poor street boy. What would a beautiful princess ever want with him? Aladdin comes upon an old lamp and when he accidentally rubs it, a Magic Genie appears. Things are looking up for the boy and his mother, but an evil magician has been searching for that lamp for years and he wants it badly! Aladdin gets more than he bargained for in this age old story filled with magic, adventure and romance.
