Grandview Heights High School Theatre Arts Program is proud to present Peter and the Starcatcher directed by April Olt, music directed by Lucas Fox. Peter and the Starcatchers, a play with music, is not only the prequel to Peter Pan, but it is also based on the book by Dave Berry and Ridley Pearson. Have you ever wanted to know how Caption Hook lost his hand? What is the backstory of Peter Pan? Tinkerbell? Wendy Darling? This anachronistic tale challenges traditional ideas of leaders, heroes, families, and home. Complete with mermaids, pirates, lost boys and swashbuckling fun!

Peter and the Starcatcher cast includes: Aidan Young as Peter, Ellie Kahle as Molly Aster, Sam Carter as Stache, Mary Beth Kauffman as Smee, Keiren Bode as Prentiss, Spencer Browning as Ted, Sophie Beacom as Lord Leonard Aster, Aria Cadeau as Mrs. Bumbrake, Maggie Lobley as Captain Robert Falcon Scott, Mack Branum as Grempkin, Bryan Gilleland as Alf, David Zimmerman as Bill Slank, Alan Andrew as Sanchez, Sofie Markle as Mack, Daniel Field as Fighting Prawn, Oscar Dunkle as Hawking Clam and Sally Hofmans-Curie as Teacher. Foley Artists are Ava Rehbeck, Liz McDermott, Mia Marcellana, Kit Stephens and Cece Simmons Dylan, Dobbs-Euans.

Performances are Thursday, November 1, Friday, November 2, and Saturday, November 3 at 7:00pm. Student prices of $1.00 per ticket for the Thursday at 7:00pm performances ONLY. The November 2nd performance will be sign interpreted by Artistic Sign Language Services All performances will be held at the Grandview Heights High School Auditorium at 1587 West Third Avenue, Columbus, OH 43212.
