Fright Nite Friday with Fritz Set for 7/6

Local TV and radio legend Fritz the Nite Owl will host this year's "Fright Nite Friday" double feature at the CAPA Summer Movie Series. Patrons will have the chance to meet Fritz in the Ohio Theatre lobby for photos and autographs. He'll also introduce both films-Dracula's Daughter (1936) and Frankenstein Meets the Wolf Man (1943)-as they make their Series premiere.

The 2012 CAPA Summer Movie Series presents Fright Nite Friday with Fritz at the Ohio Theatre (39 E. State St.) on Friday, July 6. Doors open at 6:30pm. Screening begins at 7:30pM. Day-of-show tickets are $4 and go on sale one hour prior to show time at the Ohio Theatre kiosk. Senior citizen tickets are $3.50. All tickets are general admission and seating is on a first come, first served basis.

Dracula's Daughter (1936)

Filmed as the sequel to Dracula (1931), Dracula's Daughter begins with the death of Count Dracula at the hands of Professor Von Helsing. Countess Marya Zaleska (Holden), Dracula's daughter and also a vampire, will do anything to free herself of her father's evil influence and live as a human.

Frankenstein Meets the Wolf Man (1943)

It's an epic battle of classic horror movie monsters when The Wolf Man resurrects Frankenstein's monster in an effort to seek an end for his suffering as an inhuman beast. This film is the fifth in a series of films based upon Mary Shelley's Frankenstein and a sequel to The Wolf Man.
