The 2013 Festival Latino, slated for August 10 and 11 at Genoa Park downtown, is now accepting applications from Ohio-based, Latino visual artists interested in exhibiting their work at the two-day, free event. Attended by 75,000 people in 2012, the Festival will focus the Visual Artists Showcase on the Latina woman in 2013. Applicants are asked to submit a minimum of one work that celebrates the Latina woman and her role in the family, community, or world.

Applications are due by June 21, and can be downloaded from the Festival web site at www.festivallatino.net. Completed applications can be submitted to:

Kenneth Ramos, Chairman, 2013 Latino Visual Art Committee

Festival Latino will run from 11am-8pm each day and feature Ohio-based Latin bands and dance companies, as well as national headlining music acts. The two-day event will also provide a variety of family entertainment and delicious Latin cuisine. Admission is free.
