Columbus Symphony to Present Disney in Concert, 4/28

The Columbus Symphony, conductor Albert-George Schram, and four guest vocalists will explore many of Walt Disney's stories and characters through their memorable melodies in "Disney in Concert: Magical Music from the Movies." Accompanied by video-projected clips, still cells, and storyboard art from the films, the concert will include favorites from Disney musicals such as The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Pocahontas, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Aladdin, and The Lion King, as well as Disney classics from Mary Poppins to Pirates of the Caribbean.

The Columbus Symphony presents "Disney in Concert: Magical Music from the Movies" at the Ohio Theatre (39 E. State St.) on Saturday, April 28, at 8pm. Tickets are $23-$68 and can be purchased at the Ohio Theatre Ticket Office (39 E. State St.), all Ticketmaster outlets, and www.ticketmaster.com. To purchase tickets by phone, please call (614) 228-8600 or (800) 745-3000. The Ohio Theatre Ticket Office will also be open two hours prior to each performance. Students between the ages of 13-19 may purchase $5 PNC Arts Alive All Access tickets while available.
