Columbus Children's Theatre presents The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, dramatized by Joseph Robinette from the story by C. S. Lewis at the Park Street Theatre Thursday September 27 – October 14, 2012. The production is directed by Nancy Shelton Williams.
This is the wonderful adventure of four siblings - Peter, Susan, Edmund and Lucy Pevensie - who discover an old wardrobe that is a doorway to the world of Narnia. They meet Aslan and set out on a quest to save Narnia from the White Witch. This adventure has intense action featuring chases, duels and narrow escapes. All the memorable episodes from the story are represented: the temptation of Edmund by the witch, the slaying of the evil wolf by Peter, the witnessing of Aslan's resurrection by Susan and Lucy, the crowning of the four new rulers of Narnia and more. This story of love, faith, courage and giving, with its triumph of good over evil, is a true celebration of life.
