CAPA today announced its season lineup for 2010-11. Highlights include the return of Columbus' favorite saxophonist extraordinaire, Dave Koz, and the ever-popular, riotous comedy of The Second City. Columbus debuts include acoustic guitarist Benise who brings his lavish stage production, The Spanish Guitar, to the Palace Theatre; DRUMLINE LIVE,a show-style marching band showcase based on the film Drumline; and world-renowned, contemporary ballet company, Complexions.

It's here, and it's "AN ELLE OF A SHOW" (TIME Magazine). The hilarious MGM film is Broadway's new smash hit musical, and now Legally Blonde the Musical is coming to Columbus. Legally Blonde follows sorority star Elle Woods, an underestimated blonde who doesn't take "no" for an answer. When her boyfriend dumps her for someone more "serious," Elle puts down the credit card, hits the books, and sets out to go where no Delta Nu has gone before-Harvard Law. Along the way, Elle proves that being true to yourself never goes out of style. After turning Broadway and MTV hot pink, this "Feel-Good Song and Dance Juggernaut" (New York Magazine) is "The Best New Musical Around!" (WOR). Ohio State Theatre returns to the Southern to present the Tony Award-winning, pop-rock musical Aida, a contemporary take on the classic love story between an enslaved Nubian princess and an Egyptian soldier. Over the Rhine

Described as a "sometimes pensive, often poetic, and continually progressive folk-pop ensemble," Cincinnati-based Over the Rhine has been making music for more than 20 years. Fronted by Karin Bergquist's torchy, devil-may-care voice brimming with Midwestern soul, the band is led by brilliant keyboardist and songwriter Linford Detweiler who can seamlessly move from avant garde jazz to whisper-quiet folk subtleties to flat out rock. Over the Rhine may well be one of Americana's best kept secrets.
