CAPA Presents an Evening of Halloween Fun with GHOST LIGHT Movie Night 10/30

Celebrate the spirit of Halloween with CAPA's first annual "Ghost Light" Movie Night at the historic Ohio Theatre. Doors open at 7:30pm with hauntingly appropriate music played by organist David Fleisher on the "Mighty Morton" theatre organ beginning at 8pm. The feature presentation for the evening will be a screening of the 1959 classic horror film House on Haunted Hill starring Vincent Price at 8:30pm.

Patrons can also participate in a costume contest. Winners will be announced during intermission, and prizes will include tickets to a variety of upcoming CAPA presentations including Rock of Ages, Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo, Benise: The Spanish Guitar, and A Christmas Carol.

CAPA presents "Ghost Light" Movie Night at the Ohio Theatre (39 E. State St.) on Saturday, October 30, at 8 pm. Tickets are $5 at the Ohio Theatre Ticket Office (39 E. State St.), all Ticketmaster outlets, and www.ticketmaster.com. To purchase tickets by phone, please call (614) 469-0939 or (800) 745-3000.

All tickets are general admission and seating is on a first come, first served basis. This film has not been rated.

Tours of the Ohio Theatre are also available with the purchase of a ticket to the "Ghost Light" event. Tours begin at 6:30pm, but availability is limited. Reservations are required and can be made by sending an email to advancement@capa.com.

House on Haunted Hill (1959)

An eccentric millionaire and his fourth wife invite five strangers to a "haunted house party" at a residence said to have been the location of seven brutal murders. Those who meet the challenge of remaining in the house overnight will be awarded $10,000 each. The doors are locked at midnight, and the game begins.
