Burlesque Biographie, Shadowbox Live's sexiest show of the year, returns for an encore run for even more laughs and even more of the burlesque dances audiences loved the first time around. Opening on January 14th at 7:30 PM, Burlesque Biographie tells the story of beloved burlesque performer Busty Slingshot as she revisits her career path that led her to create her troupe Burlesque de Voyage. Running mainly on Wednesdays and Thursdays through February 5th, the show will also be available for one Sunday only on January 18th at 2:00 and 7:00 PM.
Then Shadowbox Live's Off-Broadway rock 'n' roll carnival retakes the stage! Evo reopens on January 25th for only five performances! And this incredible show is not one to be missed, as it marks the return of Gabriel Guyer, who will be replacing his father, Stev Guyer in the company created production.
"We are incredibly thrilled to have Gabriel back in our shows," says Stev Guyer, Executive Producer and CEO of Shadowbox Live, "both on a personal level, of course, but also because he's an extremely talented and versatile performer."
Gabriel Guyer, who performed in earlier tours of Evo in the late '90's, left the Columbus stage in 2006, and spent the majority of the subsequent years living in LA, although he remained involved as the bass guitarist for Light and the webmaster for Shadowbox Live throughout his sabbatical.
Evo, opening on Sunday, January 25th at 7:00 PM, explores the evolution of human nature through thirteen vignettes, told with original rock 'n' roll music and high energy dance. Thousands of years of humanity are condensed into two hours of no-holds-barred performance where it's Instinct versus Society!
Don't miss either of these limited time engagements at Shadowbox Live!
