Backstage at the Lincoln, the Lincoln Theatre's intimate concert series featuring local artists, has announced the remaining performances for 2017. This series offers concertgoers the extraordinary opportunity to be seated on stage for the performance, providing an up-close-and-personal experience with the featured artist set against the hand-painted grandeur of the Lincoln's rare Egyptian Revival-style motif.
The schedule is as follows:
September 20 - Tia Harris with NexLevel
Jazz vocalist and songwriter Tia Harris and the dynamic group NexLevel will perform original music from their respective CDs as well as covers of popular jazz and R&B songs. www.JustTia.com; www.NexLevelJazz.com
October 19 - Camille Betton
Backed by a live band and background vocalists, Camille Betton showcases her smooth, rich tones in traditional R&B, feel-good music that speaks of love, life, and happiness.
November 16 - Scott Woods
Nationally renowned poet and essayist Scott Woods will perform original poetry in his inimitable and humorous style in a show that includes new and published work. www.ScottWoodsWrites.net
