ROBIN HOOD Coming to Teatro Nacional 2/3 - 6/16

ROBIN HOOD is coming to Teatro Nacional in Colombia from February 3rd to June 16th, 2019.

It is a play that tells the story of the legendary Robin Hood through a dynamic and modern staging that uses resources such as video, 2d animation and interactivity on stage with each technical resource.

Robin Hood tells the story of the legendary Robin Hood, a character who tells many stories both real and fantastic, the base texts that have served as inspiration for the creation of the text have been the medieval ballads that were the way you had at the time to tell what was happening, the ballads sung by the minstrels were the newspaper of the time.
These medieval ballads where the first literary references of Robin Hood, so the writing process of the work began by reading these ballads with more than 800 years old.
The story of Robin Hood takes place in England in the year 1200 approximately. Each reference to the time within the work is real: The way they bathed, the way the people were exploited, the deaths from the Black Death, etc ... this in order to contribute to the pedagogical process of children and young people who see the work.
