“label•less,” a musical journey toward acceptance focusing on issues affecting our society today that offers hope for a better tomorrow, from Drew and Lea Lachey and Lachey Arts, will be presented for seven performances from July 8-16 in the Rouse Theater at Tony-award winning Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park.

First performed in March of 2018, ‘label•less’ garnered such an overwhelming response that it was the only live performance to be included in the Over-the-Rhine International Film Festival that fall. Since then, ‘label•less’ has been performed in 2020, 2021 and 2022 to private audiences.
“Whether discussing race, sexuality or mental health, ‘label•less’ brings attention to topics in a way that everyone can understand and relate,” said Drew Lachey, executive producer. “Using popular music, dance and personal stories, this cast of 17-27 year-olds draws attention to the struggles facing us while offering hope of a better, more accepting tomorrow.”
Over the course of 90 minutes and 16 songs, the show deals with such issues as racism, self-worth, homophobia, disability, bullying, mental health, classism and sexism and serves as a vehicle to have difficult conversations on these issues.
Original songs were written by Drew Lachey, Jamie Jones, PT Duncan, Aaron Space and Isabella Langley.
