The story whisks you back to the roaring twenties, 1922 New York City, to be exact. Millie Dillmount, a determined young woman from Kansas, arrives with dreams of a glamorous, modern life. Her plan? Snag a wealthy husband by working as a secretary. But hilarious chaos ensues – she loses her belongings, ends up at a suspicious hotel with a white slavery ring lurking beneath the surface, and falls for a charming man who might not be all he seems.

Thoroughly Modern Millie's infectious energy and clever humor were recognized at the prestigious Tony Awards. It triumphed in 2002, winning six awards including the coveted Best Musical.
