Love is in the air as two separate one-act musicals become one, giving audiences a glimpse into the stories of romance seekers. The first act is a delightful romp through the romantic ennui of turn of the century Vienna based on Schnitzler's tale, The Little Comedy, as two 19th-century aristocrats meet in disguise, fall in love and worry over how to confess their true identities.
The second act is a modern look at affection and disaffection in a summer house shared by two couples in the Hamptons and is based on the Jules Renard play Summer Share. Originally an Off Off Broadway sensation that successfully moved to Broadway, Tony®-nominated Romance/Romance is a perfect change from the modern mega musical.
