Once on This Island is the universal tale of Ti Moune, a fearless peasant girl in search of her place in the world, and ready to risk it all for love. Guided by the mighty island gods, Love, Death, Water, and Earth, Ti Moune sets out on a remarkable journey to reunite with the man who has captured her heart.
Once on This Island opens at Monticello Middle School in Cleveland Heights on Friday, January 17, 2020, and closes on Sunday, January 26, 2020.
The show is directed by Eugene Sumlin, music directed by Stacy Bolton, stage managed by HYT alum Alex Boyd and includes 55 actors in 1st through 12th grades from Cleveland Heights, University Heights, Shaker Heights and surrounding communities.
