"Jekyll & Hyde" is a captivating musical drama based on Robert Louis Stevenson's classic novella "The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde." The musical, with book and lyrics by Leslie Bricusse and music by Frank Wildhorn, first premiered in 1990. It explores themes of duality, identity, and the nature of evil, offering a rich tapestry for audiences to interpret. The story's possible symbolism, such as the struggle between reason and desire or the societal repression of the Victorian era, adds depth to the narrative.

"Jekyll & Hyde" is a thrilling exploration of the battle between good and evil within one man. Audiences can expect a riveting journey as Dr. Jekyll, a dedicated scientist, seeks to separate man's good and evil natures, only to create Mr. Hyde, his malevolent alter ego. As Jekyll loses control over Hyde, the line between right and wrong blurs, leading to a gripping and tragic climax.

Our amazing cast includes a few returnees, but mostly brand new actors to the WRP stage! Mason Stewart leads the show as Jekyll/Hyde, Jennie Nasser as the love interest Emma, Braelin Andrzejewski returns to the stage as Lucy, and Robert Kowalewski returns as the narrator Utterson. Also involved are returnees and newcomers alike; Dennis Runkle, Jacob Lang, Justin Andrews, Jonathon Clarke, Jessica Pringle, TJ Hayes, Michael Rajko, Kelly Schikowski, Tomas W. Greene, Nathan Zadzilka, Claire Oliver, Caitlin Krauss, Sarah McVaney, Belle Issa, Christina Katsaras, Rebecca Riffle, Jessica Edwards, and John Rohr. We are excited to work with all of them!
