The Cleveland Stage Alliance Presents FEEL THE NOIZE THE 80S ROCK CONCERT this August

Cain Park and the Cleveland Stage Alliance have come together to present "Feel the Noize: The 80s Rock Concert" on August 11 at 7pm in the Alma Theater. "Feel the Noize" is part of a new concert series that celebrates various beloved aspects of pop culture in a festive evening of song. Following the current trend set in New York by such popular series' as "Broadway Sings," "54 Sings" and others, the Cleveland Stage Alliance utilizes a rotating cast of local talent to perform material outside of the musical theater canon with a theatrical flair!

Tickets for this event are $18 advance and $21 day of show. Tickets can be purchased at Ticketmaster.com (800-653-8000) or the Cain Park ticket office (216-371-3000). Cain Park is located at 14591 Superior Road in Cleveland Heights.

The decade that launched MTV ushered in an unforgettable era of hard rock and glam metal. The acid-washed jeans and big hair may have faded, but the music lives on for an entire generation who still turn the radio up when they hear Journey, Guns n' Roses, Poison, Def Leppard and Bon Jovi. Those are among the guilty pleasures that will provide the soundtrack for this one-night-only event! Some of Northeast Ohio's top theater talent comes together to perform new and familiar arrangements of popular tunes accompanied by a live band.

This concert features a number of Cleveland's most talented performs, such as Ian Atwood, Douglas F. Bailey II,Amiee Collier, Eric Fancher, Dan Folino, Trey Gilpin, Codie Higer, Joanna May Hunkins, Sidney Perelman, and many more.

Cain Park 2016 season sponsors include the Ohio Arts Council, The Westin Downtown Cleveland, oWOWNOW.com, and Motorcars Honda/Toyota/Scion. The media supporter for the For Good: The Generation of Musicals concert at Cain Park is WCPN 90.3.

Cain Park, a municipally owned and operated summer arts park, is one of the nation's oldest landmark outdoor theatres, and 2016 marks its 78th season. Cain Park is produced by the City of Cleveland Heights and is located on Superior Road between Lee and South Taylor roads.
