The Cleveland Orchestra Announces Student Appreciation Weekend, 10/4-6

The Cleveland Orchestra hosts its second annual Student Appreciation Weekend Thursday, October 4 – Saturday, October 6. Student tickets, all $5, will be available beginning Monday, October 1 at the Severance Hall Ticket Office during regular business hours. Concerts include Cleveland Orchestra subscription concerts on Thursday, October 4, at 8 p.m. and Saturday, October 6; at 8 p.m. and the KeyBank Fridays@7 concert on Friday, October 5, at 7 p.m. in Severance Hall.

"Under 18s Free" at Severance Hall begins on Friday, October 5 with KeyBank Fridays@7, and Cleveland Orchestra Student Ambassadors will be present to promote the Orchestra's Student Advantage Program and Cleveland Orchestra Frequent Fan Card.

These programs are supported by The Cleveland Orchestra's Center for Future Audiences and The Alexander and Sarah Cutler Fund for Student Audiences.

"UNDER 18s FREE"
The "Under 18s Free" program of The Cleveland Orchestra expands to Severance Hall beginning Friday, October 5, at KeyBank Fridays@7, the Orchestra's informal series, onstage and off, combining Cleveland Orchestra concerts and world music performances. "Under 18s Free" tickets will be available for all KeyBank Fridays@7, Friday matinee, and Sunday afternoon concerts. "Under 18s Free" tickets are available for young people ages 7-17 at the Severance Hall Ticket Office.

STUDENT AMBASSADORS
Cleveland Orchestra Student Ambassadors from Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland Institute of Music, Cleveland State University, Baldwin Wallace University, State University of New York Fredonia, and other Northeast Ohio schools will attend Student Appreciation Weekend concerts free of charge. Student Ambassadors play a vital role in promoting membership in The Cleveland Orchestra's Student Advantage Program, promoting the Cleveland Orchestra Frequent Fan Card, and attending concerts, master classes, and open rehearsals. STUDENT ADVANTAGE PROGRAM
The Cleveland Orchestra's Student Advantage Program makes tickets available to full-time high school, college, and graduate/post-graduate students at deeply discounted prices during the Severance Hall season.
