The 2010-11 Small Non-Profit Series, a sequence of discussions focusing on issues related to the management of small non-profit organizations, begins on Tues., Nov. 9 from 4:30-6 p.m. The first event of the year will focus on "Human Resources and the Small Non-Profit." The discussion will be led by Elizabeth A. Crosby, chair of the Employment, Labor and Workers' Compensation practice of Licata & Toerek. She is the first woman attorney in Ohio certified as a dual specialist in Workers' Compensation and Labor & Employment Law, and is one of only 12 people in the state of Ohio carrying dual certification.
Small Non-Profit Series events are also scheduled for Tues., Feb. 22, 2011 and for Tues., Mar. 15, 2011. The planned topics are volunteer management and survey design and evaluation. ideastream® is a multiple-media public service organization with a mission to strengthen our communities by providing distinctive, thought-provoking programs and services that enlighten, inspire, educate and entertain. The organization was formed by the merger of public broadcasting stations WVIZ/PBS and 90.3 WCPN in July of 2001.
