Beck Center for the Arts presents FOREVER PLAID, written and originally directed and choreographed by Stuart Ross, with musical continuity supervision and arrangements by James Raitt. This production is directed and choreographed by Martín Céspedes with musical direction by Bryan Bird and runs tonight, September 12, through October 12, 2014, 8 p.m. Fridays & Saturdays and 3 p.m. Sundays on the Mackey Main Stage. BroadwayWorld has a first look at the cast onstage below!

Written and originally directed and choreographed by Stuart Ross, Forever Plaid a deliciously goofy musical comedy that centers on four eager singers whose dreams of making it big end with a bus collision on the way to their first big concert. Miraculously revived from the afterlife, they fulfill their dreams and perform the show that never was. The Plaids sing in the closest of harmony, squabble over the smallest intonations, and execute charmingly outlandish choreography to some of the greatest nostalgic hits of the 1950s such as "Three Coins in the Fountain," "Rags to Riches," "Chain Gang," "Catch a Falling Star" and more.

Presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI), this production of Forever Plaid is generously funded by Cuyahoga County residents through Cuyahoga Arts and Culture and the Ohio Arts Council.
