MadLab and ShepheRD Productions will present The Empire Builders by Boris Vian. Written in 1957, this classic work seems to have been lost to history. With only a couple dozen productions done in the United States since it was written, MadLab and Shepherd are proud to co-produce this unknown piece. Synopsis:
The Empire Builders follows the Dupont family as they continuously travel up one floor higher in their apartment building every time they hear a mysterious and terrifying noise. While each room gets smaller and smaller, their fear and paranoia gets greater and greater. To add to this, each room contains an unknown creature (The Schmurz) that watches their every move.
