The days are getting long, the sun is getting hotter, and the smell of fringe is in the air. Whet your appetite for the 10th Anniversary of the Cincinnati Fringe Festival with your sneak peak of the 2013 Cincinnati Fringe Festival line-up, Wednesday April 17th. This will be an opportunity to eat, drink, be merry, and begin celebrating the Cincinnati Fringe Festival's 10th Birthday by perusing the 2013 festival line-up. There will also be a performance from fringe veteran Kevin Thornton. The announcement party begins at 6:30 pm and the viewing of An Evening with Kevin Thornton will begin at 8 pm.

The Cincinnati Fringe Festival is celebrating its tenth birthday this year. Don't miss your chance to hear about all the happenings and plans we have for the 2013 Festival. The 2013 Cincinnati Fringe Festival includes 32 Performance Fringe productions as well as 4 shows in the high school centered program called FringeNext, as well as lots of exciting 10th year surprises.

The 2013 Cincinnati Fringe Festival starts May 28 and continues through June 8. Fringe Festival passes are on sale now including the Full Frontal pass, Voyeur pass, and One Night Stand pass. For more information or to purchase passes, check out cincyfringe.com or call 513.300.KNOW (5669).

Admission to the announcement party is free and open to the public, but tickets are required for the viewing of An Evening with Kevin Thornton. Tickets are $12 and can be purchased visiting knowtheatre.com or by calling the box office at 513.300.KNOW (5669).

You may remember Kevin Thornton from previous fringe hits like Sex, Dreams & Self Control in 2009, I Love You (We're Fucked) in 2011, and Strange Dreamz in 2012. Kevin will bring his award winning stand-up comedy and music exploring themes of love, sex and the meaning of life to Know Theatre for one night only. His stories comment on sexuality (the straight and gay kind), religion and American life in a new century.

Kevin Thornton is a New Faces winner at The Comedy Store in Los Angeles and recently performed at Gotham Comedy Club in New York. When he's not doing stand-up he is a full-time fringe performer, and has appeared in nearly every US fringe. He's also an author, musician and podcast radio host. He talked about the many facets of his career as a guest lecturer at Berkeley last year, and has been invited to speak again in 2013.
