Cleveland Play House's FESTIVAL OF TREES to Run 11/24-12/21

The lobbies of the Allen Theatre will once again be a sight to behold as Cleveland Play House welcomes back Festival of Trees! This endearing holiday tradition features dozens of gorgeous trees, designed by a team of professional decorators, lining the lobbies of the Allen Theatre. With each tree offering a unique design or theme, guests and their families are sure to depart with a plethora of design inspiration for their own trees. Along with Presenting Sponsor Dominion East Ohio and the generosity of Cleveland's corporate and civic leaders, Cleveland Play House is pleased to welcome all members of the community to this FREE Festival which is OPEN to the general public. Festival of Trees will raise support for CPH's renowned artistic and educational programming, while making the season bright for the Northeast Ohio community.

Festival of Trees will run from Nov. 24 - Dec. 21 and will officially commence with Light Up the Night, a FREE community tree-lighting celebration, on Monday, Nov. 24th from 5:30 - 8:00 p.m. in the Allen Theatre lobby. Adults and children of all ages are invited to join in for family-friendly activities, behind the scenes access, and a special performance by The Singing Angels. This free event is open to the general public and no RSVP is necessary.

Along with Co-Chairs Rose Dziak and Jan Focke, CPH promises a truly unforgettable experience each day at Festival of Trees. Guests will have the opportunity to make a special Share-a-Memory paper ornament, on which they are encouraged to write down a favorite holiday memory, which they can then display on one of the Memory Trees located throughout the Allen lobbies. Guests are also encouraged to make new holiday memories by taking photos of themselves and their loved ones next to their favorite ornament or tree and sharing their memories online!

Light Up the (Tech) Night!

Monday, Nov. 24 | 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.

Join us for a special "Holiday" Tech Night with the Light Up the Night opening celebration of Festival of Trees. Hear from the director and designers of A Christmas Story, then sit in on a technical rehearsal ("tech") to see how set, lights, sound, costumes, and actors all come together as opening night nears, all surrounded by the beauty and majesty of dozens of uniquely decorated holiday trees.
