Cesear's Forum will present two one-act plays, ELEGY FOR A LADY by Arthur Miller and THREE WOMEN by Sylvia Plath, in an April-May engagement at Kennedy's Down Under, PlayhouseSquare, Cleveland. The show will play 4/13 to 5/26.

THREE WOMEN by Sylvia Plath was written and broadcast for BBC Radio in 1962. Three Women was included in the poetry collection Winter Trees in 1971.

Arthur Miller's one-act play, ELEGY FOR A LADY, was first presented in 1982 by the Long Wharf Theatre in New Haven, Connecticut.

American playwright, Arthur Miller (1915-2005) is considered by many to be one of the greatest dramatists of the twentieth century. American poet, Sylvia Plath (1932-1963) is credited with advancing the genre of confessional poetry. Both received the Pulitzer Prize in their respective fields.

Cesear’s Forum, Cleveland’s small professional theatre company, continues to present works of social commitment and theatre experimentation. Recent recognition from Faber & Faber, Ltd. & the Plath Estate as well as project support from Cuyahoga Arts & Culture and the Ohio Arts Council furthers the company mission of presenting unconventional, new or lesser known works to the area.
