Limited Engagement in Lakewood, OH from December 2-10, 2023.
Beck Center for the Arts will present the upcoming Dance Education Production, The Nutcracker 2023. Choreographed by Associate Director of Dance Education Melanie Szucs, this ballet follows the traditional beloved classic form, sure to delight families of all ages this holiday season.
These dance students showcase the very best in Northeast Ohio talent. Melanie Szucs states, “Beck Dance Education's Nutcracker features 70 of our youth, teen, and adult dance students dancing to the magical score by Tchaikovsky. Clara will be danced by Audrey Willmer, age 11 from Westlake, and the Sugar Plum Fairy will be danced by Audrey Boetger, age 17 of Rocky River. In a twist on tradition, this Nutcracker features a battle for the cheese between mice and soldiers. Beck Center Dance Education has been presenting this holiday ballet biannually since 2003.”
