MY AUDITION APPOINTMENT



A four week, online, audition and business intensive designed to help you nail your auditions, master secrets of the buisness, and showcase your talent to industry leaders.



Auditions have started again. Television shows are shooting and theaters are holding virtual appointments. Dust off your audition technique and develop critical business skills to thrive in this business! Each week will guide you through a mock audition appointment, coach you on the material, and explore essential business and industry topics. The intensive culminates in a showcase and meeting with previous industry leaders featured on The Breakdown podcast.



The intensive meets once per week online for 2-3 hours starting at the beginning of February. Enrollment is limited to insure individualized attention.



Week One: Finding the Perfect Monologue and ‘How To Book At An Open Call/ EPA’.

* Special guest, Michael Rader, Producing Artistic Director of The Cape Playhouse.



Week Two: How to Nail Television Sides and ‘All Things Agents’



Week Three: Callbacks & Confidence and ‘All Things AEA— how and when to join, EMC, health insurance etc.

*Special Guest, Hannah Corneau, recent Elphaba in Wicked on Broadway.



Week Four: Virtual Showcase Performance and meeting with Industry Leaders



THE COACH



Robbie Simpson is the Assistant Artistic Director of The Cape Playhouse and an actor, director, and podcaster based in New York City. As an actor he has worked on Hulu, AMC and SciFi television shows as well as on stages in New York City and the nation’s leading regional theaters.
