Summer Internships at Premiere Stages - Premiere Stages

Premiere Stages’ summer internships are full-time, seasonal positions. The program provides intense on-the-job training, educational seminars, and field trips to New York City. These internships are for individuals who desire practical experience in the real world, and for those who are willing to fully commit their time and energy to the program. Premiere Stages will accept applications from December 1st 2020 - March 1st 2021.



Please note: After postponements due to Covid-19, we are honoring offers made to prospective interns from 2020 into the 2021 season. However, we will accept applications for 2021 positions and will contact applicants for any slots that become open. We will continue to follow local, state, and federal public health guidelines, and our programs are subject to change based on those developments.



Requirements

Candidates must be at least 18 years old and have completed at least one year of college. Interns are encouraged to bring their vehicles with them when possible.



Duration

Internships are offered June 7 - August 14, 2021. Production interns may extend their internships through August 21, 2021. Kean students may extend their internships into August and September. Evening and weekend work required.



Compensation

Local interns receive a $250 stipend per week. Interns who receive free on-campus housing get a $200 stipend per week.



Travel expense to and from Premiere is the responsibility of the intern. Academic credit may be arranged by the intern in lieu of a stipend at the discretion of the sponsoring college.
