Broadway International Group, the premiere Producing and General Management company specializing in Broadway productions for the Asian marketplace, is seeking an Associate General Manager to join its fast-paced New York office for multiple upcoming projects including an international Broadway musical tour launching in summer 2021 in China.
Responsibilities include: contract generation and execution, budget monitoring and updating, handling insurance and workers compensation setup; weekly payroll processing, maintenance of receipts and records of production expenses; ensuring the well-being of the Company; travel, logistical and travel arrangements; engagement with production team for the logistics of shipping and visas; maintaining management and production files; working in coordination with General Manager as directed.
The position will begin remotely, and subject to Covid-19, may continue at some point in our midtown office in New York City. Candidates must commit to a full-time position beginning immediately, including spending one to two months in China during the rehearsal and technical period in summer 2021.
Applicants must be extremely detail oriented, self-motivated, hardworking, and supremely organized. Excellent communication, time-management and organizational skills, an abundance of patience, sense of humor, professional manner, and a desire to collaborate are vital. Previous commercial management, financial experience and international experience are required. An interest in cross-cultural collaborations, particularly in Asia, is a plus. Applicants must be proficient in the standard Office software, particularly in Excel, as well as in QuickBooks.
