The Carnegie is gearing up for a family-friendly event to kick off the summer, and it's going to be epic! On Saturday, June 3, the community is invited to The Most Epic Birthday Party Ever!, a musical and post-performance celebration with all the trimmings of a birthday party.

The day kicks off at 2pm with a musical performance of The Most Epic Birthday Party Ever! by the Camp Carnegie All-Stars. After the show, attendees will move into the Ohio National Financial Services Main Gallery and onto The Carnegie's plaza to partake in a full blown party with cupcake decorating, a petting zoo, water balloon activities, and more.

"I've been waiting all year for this event," said Maggie Perrino, Theatre Director at The Carnegie. "The Carnegie gets to throw a fun, family bash for the community while showing off our theatre, education, and gallery programming. It is a true reflection of our mission to share the arts with everyone."

Tickets to The Most Epic Birthday Party Ever! are $16. Tickets for the musical performance only are $10. Tickets are available at The Carnegie Box Office, open Tuesday-Friday 12pm-5pm, online at www.thecarnegie.com or by phone at (859) 957-1940.

The Most Epic Birthday Party Ever! is part of The Carnegie's G.E.T. Together series, a collaborative, interactive series bringing together the talents of The Carnegie's Gallery, Education, and Theatre departments. The 2016-17 Carnegie G.E.T. Together Series Media Sponsor is WMKV.
