Know Theatre Opents Its Season with Peter Sinn Nachtrieb's 'Boom'

The Know Theatre in Cincinnati is gearing up for its season opener with 'Boom' by Peter Sinn Nachtrieb. 'Boom' runs from October 10 - November 7, 2009.

According to press notes, in 'Boom', Jo arrives at what appears to be an underground laboratory after answering a Craigslist ad promising "sex to change the course of the world". What she finds is Jules, a marine biologist who has determined that the world is going to end...tonight. When it turns out to be true, Jules and Jo begin to realize that this is only the first of many signs their relationship is not meant to be.

The production is directed by Drew Fracher, and stars two of Know Theatre's resident actors, Joshua Murphy and Liz Vosmeier, as well as feature recent Acclaim Award Rising Star, and creator of the Cincinnati Fringe Festival show, In Rehearsal, Alison Vodnoy.
