Jersey Productions (JP), is returning for its fourth season bringing quality theatre to the Greater Cincinnati area, and is delighted to announce the cast and staff for its July production, Oklahoma!, running July 17th-25th at the Aronoff Center for the Arts. This year will mark Jersey Productions' second year at the Aronoff Center for the Arts as a resident company.

Oklahoma! by Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein II, was the first collaboration between these two giants of American musical theatre. Originally produced in 1943, Oklahoma! was a box office smash hit that saw an unprecedented 2212 performances before closing. Though originally panned by the critics as too avant guard, Oklahoma! is now considered the birth of the modern American musical. Oklahoma! tells the story of the high-spirited rivalry between the local farmers and cowboys. This provides a colorful background against which Curly, a handsome cowboy, and Laurey, a winsome farm girl, play out their love story.
