Jersey Productions (JP) is thrilled to present SONGS FOR A NEW WORLD by JasonRobert Brown as a staged concert to benefit both Jersey Productions and the Cincinnati Acclaim Awards.SONGS FOR A NEW WORLD will be performed Friday, August 13, 2010 at 8pm at the Aronoff Center'sJarson-Kaplan Theater. This summer will mark Jersey Productions' third year at the Aronoff Center for theArts as a resident company.
The cast for SONGS FOR A NEW WORLD includes popular Cincinnati musical theater actors Kaitlin Becker,Pamela Day, Matt Dentino, Ken Early, Beth Harris, Montez Jenkins, Annie Kalahurka, Blythe Walker andElizabeth Worley, The production team includes Liz Vosmeier (Director/Choreographer), Kelly Martin (MusicalDirector), and Josh Neumeyer (Stage Manager).

Jersey Productions is dedicated to nurturing the voice of musical theatre through the development andproduction of new and classical works. Established in 2006, the company has produced fifteen full-scalemusical productions as well as three seasons of CAMP JERSEY! and has received a Cincinnati Acclaim Award and 8 Cincinnati Entertainment Award nominations.
Now in its fifth summer season, the company is taking a break from presenting musical theatre productions tofocus on planning another season and raising the necessary funds to continue producing live, musical theatrein downtown Cincinnati. Jersey Productions just finished its third season of Camp Jersey and will hold Camp Jersey Intensive August 9-13, 2010."It's important for us to produce quality musical theatre as well as continue with our goals including providing aprofessional company for which regional and local actors and artists can work," says Kelly Martin, ManagingDirector of Jersey Productions. "We are taking time to develop Jersey Productions into a sustainablecompany in order to eventually reach the full potential of our mission statement. This fundraiser will help usget our fifth season ‘off the ground' as well as help raise money for the Acclaim Awards' Guest Equity Grant."
