Cincinnati Shakespeare Company's THE HOUND OF THE BASKERVILLES Adds 3 Matinees, 7/28, 8/4 & 11

Cincinnati Shakespeare Company has announced three additional performances of Saturday matinees at 2pm of their hit production of the regional premiere of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's "The Hound of the Baskervilles" adapted by Steve Canny. The additional performances are July 28, August 4 and 11 at 2pm.

This hilarious three-man romp follows Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson as they investigate the case of the mysterious hound from hell. This production is directed by Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park's Associate Artistic Director Michael Evan Haney and features CSC Resident Company members Jeremy Dubin, Nicholas Rose and Brent Vimtrup. The Enquirer calls "silly Baskervilles a delightful romp". The League of Cincinnati Theatre Awards panelist have recommended the production as "a fun night for the whole family" and "a delightful take-off of Sherlock Holmes", filled with "merry pranks" and "physical comedy".

Cincinnati Shakespeare Company is a professional theatre company dedicated to bringing Shakespeare and the classics to life for audiences of all ages. CSC employs a resident company of actors and artists who live and work in Cincinnati year-round, and performs on a Small Professional Theatre contract with Actors' Equity Association. Cincinnati Shakespeare Company's Education and Outreach Programs see more than 22,000 students each season by taking Shakespeare into schools, parks, community centers and by hosting educational matinees of mainstage productions at its home on Race Street. In Season 20, CSC will become one of only a handful of companies worldwide to have produced Shakespeare's 38-play canon in its entirety.
