A poignant new comedy looks at a loving family divided by faith.
Zarina is a talented young writer who often clashes with her very traditional father and sister. Focused on finishing her novel about women and Islam, Zarina meets Eli, a man who helps to connect her modernistic life and the traditions forced upon her with her heritage. But when Zarina's father and sister learn about her book, the entire family must face their beliefs and their culture. Playwright Ayad Akhtar is the winner of the Pulitzer Prize.
